On 16 March 2020, the Malaysian government has announced a partial lockdown of the country with only essential services operating. The decision was taken under the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases Act 1988 and the Police Act 1967.
In view of the above, and unless otherwise informed, we unfortunately have to shut all our factories and offices in Malaysia, from 18 March to 31 March 2020.
We have taken many precautionary measures including the set up of a Covid-19 Committee to discuss the implementation of risk management measures and the preparation for the worse.
BUSINESS CONTINUITY IS OUR UPMOST PRIORITY. We shall resume operations immediately upon the removal of the movement control order by the Malaysian government. At this moment, we target to resume on 1st April 2020. Shall there be any changes, we shall keep you informed.
